Jim Carrey – Who Is The Real You

Jim says “Somewhere in the middle of absolute confusion, absolute disappointment, absolute fruition of all of my dreams, standing there with anything anybody else had ever dreamed about having, and then being unhappy (is when my transition happened)”

You could easily mistake Jim Carrey for just another Hollywood top actor – star power, oscar awards, millions of dollars, great mansions and more. But before you typecast him, look at the deeper part of Jim Carrey and what it teaches us all. His awareness of himself has led to him not getting lost in the outer image of fame and fortune, and his transformation to understanding his deep inner Self. Truly, his experiential understanding of the same.

When he is asked, when did this transition happen. He answers “Somewhere in the middle of absolute confusion, absolute disappointment, absolute fruition of all of my dreams, standing there with anything anybody else had ever dreamed about having, and then being unhappy.” That’s when his transition happened. Do not wait for such a dramatic realisation. Slowly build your awareness of your true Self, through daily practice. Chip away…at what is not You. Have a lovely week ahead.

Stop Caring What People Think

It is a tremendous waste of time to figure out why someone resents you, hurts you or even loves you. One of the reasons we over care about what people think about us, is because we seek validation.

Perhaps play a little game, just pretend to care what people think. Deep down inside though, don’t really care – it matters little what the general people think about you. Pretending to care will at least keep the societal game going, if you want to keep it going. It is a tremendous waste of time to figure out why someone resents you, hurts you or even loves you. One of the reasons we over care about what people think about us, is because we seek validation. The best validation comes from inside ourselves, through true contemplation and a life led on deep universal principles, light heartedly. Nevertheless, we seek it from others – something we have no control over, and this can only lead to pain.

Stop caring what people think

Of course please don’t apply this in your intimate relationships with people you live with -:)) Those relationships are playing out a deep part of yourself, for you. Those need to be approached with care. This video tries to give logical arguments, why one needs to stop caring what other people think; but you know it intuitively already.
