About

My name is Dennis Taraporewala and from time to time I have thoughts, feelings and ideas that come up strongly. I have clubbed these as an evolution of “soul next” pieces because they always cause me to go deeper, to the root of the thought – like following a ray of the sun all the way back to its source. I decided to share it on this blog just for fun, so that you could also find that ray back to the sun.

On a professional note, I have over twenty years of international experience in Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Brand Strategy, working in Singapore, the United States and India and currently am a Director with Criesse Communications a boutique Public Relations and Brand Strategy company that I helped co found, handling a range of clients with multi-industry exposure, based in Mumbai, India. At Criesse I head the Corporate Practice with full responsibility for the profit & loss of the business, strategy creation, client relations, business development, PR & brand program delivery.

Concurrently, I pursue a vigorous music passion playing over six instruments and composing songs [http://www.livedennis.com], themes (sometimes for clients) and performing.

  1. Keep the fluidity of thought ever pervasive. After all there are many rays of the sun to be sourced at and analyzed. Having known you since grade 1 in school, I have been at a vantage point to see your talent nurture and grow. You have an innate ability to connect with your audience on a spiritual plane. Your blog is lucid and yet communicates the message very strongly. The sun’s rays are out there teeming with child like excitement wondering which one of their myriad sources will be sourced next. The world is your oyster.

  3. In time people will eschew the banality of newspaper editorial and opinion columns to visit this blog and engage in some wonder thoughts that help make sense of the world with a unique sensibility.

With great power comes great responsibility.

With great responsibility comes great wisdom.

With great wisdom comes gentle steps and soft whispers.

Some issues on which I would be happy to hear your views :

    (1) MF Hussain and the Freedom of Speech
    (2) The Greatest Human Divide : The insular socio-economic ghettos of the world – Why do the rich and poor never connect socially?
    (3) Social conditioning – what are all the things we do as prisoners of social habit?
    (4) The Gandhi Congress – The great balance between the Gandhi Legacy as owners of the Party and their willingness to work with professional management in governance

  4. You write wonderfully. Without exaggeration , create a manuscript and then run it past a few publishers. They may just publish it and royalties are always good.
    I am serious.Best/Nev
