Chant For Your Heart | Chant for the World

Mantra repetition and chanting, centres the mind, gives you an inner pillar and reveals great inner insights.

Till I tried it, I did not know the power of chanting a sacred mantra again and again. From one point of view it seems repetitive, dull and boring. But from another point of view, and from my own inner experience of repeating a divine mantra over the years, I have found it unravels great inner bliss, deep understanding of the universe and produces the most divine “rasa” or juice within the body. Mantra repetition and chanting, centres the mind, gives you an inner pillar and reveals great inner insights.

Chanting Om Namah Shivaya – “I Bow to my Inner Self” (Video Length: 3 min 07 sec)

Either through a spiritual master, or through years of practice, the mantra becomes Chaitanya (or alive) in your body and being. And this Chaitanya mantra becomes your Inner Master and subtly guides you in your life, business, spiritual practices, music and anything you set your intention to. Use a good on ear headphone and listen to this ancient chant, in whichever time zone you are in.

Jim Carrey – Who Is The Real You

Jim says “Somewhere in the middle of absolute confusion, absolute disappointment, absolute fruition of all of my dreams, standing there with anything anybody else had ever dreamed about having, and then being unhappy (is when my transition happened)”

You could easily mistake Jim Carrey for just another Hollywood top actor – star power, oscar awards, millions of dollars, great mansions and more. But before you typecast him, look at the deeper part of Jim Carrey and what it teaches us all. His awareness of himself has led to him not getting lost in the outer image of fame and fortune, and his transformation to understanding his deep inner Self. Truly, his experiential understanding of the same.

When he is asked, when did this transition happen. He answers “Somewhere in the middle of absolute confusion, absolute disappointment, absolute fruition of all of my dreams, standing there with anything anybody else had ever dreamed about having, and then being unhappy.” That’s when his transition happened. Do not wait for such a dramatic realisation. Slowly build your awareness of your true Self, through daily practice. Chip away…at what is not You. Have a lovely week ahead.

10 Key Thoughts on the Current Indo-China Relationship

China is a neighbour to India and we need to be mindful of our neighbourhood. Here are 10 key thoughts on the India-China relationship.

We (India) need to accept:

  1. The Chinese are far stronger than us (India) economically and militarily.
  2. We have wasted the last 10 years with no worthwhile upgrade of our systems, military or economy.
  3. As a result we are in a vulnerable position now.
  4. China has ambitions of being a global power and we should let them.
  5. India instead of dreaming to be a global power, needs to get its house in order. We need to focus on building ourselves.
  6. If we need to toe some lines with China, so be it. In the long run, we should convert China to cooperate with us and turn the tables on other adverse neighbours too.
  7. We cannot rely on Donald for US support. He is whimsical and in case he loses the election, India has had it…from China, Pakistan and the US
  8. So we need to play our cards very carefully and very delicately.
  9. We need to find genuine areas of cooperation with China, while at the same time not allowing them to take over our markets
  10. Delicate balance between USA, China, Russia will have to be maintained by India.

Stop Caring What People Think

It is a tremendous waste of time to figure out why someone resents you, hurts you or even loves you. One of the reasons we over care about what people think about us, is because we seek validation.

Perhaps play a little game, just pretend to care what people think. Deep down inside though, don’t really care – it matters little what the general people think about you. Pretending to care will at least keep the societal game going, if you want to keep it going. It is a tremendous waste of time to figure out why someone resents you, hurts you or even loves you. One of the reasons we over care about what people think about us, is because we seek validation. The best validation comes from inside ourselves, through true contemplation and a life led on deep universal principles, light heartedly. Nevertheless, we seek it from others – something we have no control over, and this can only lead to pain.

Stop caring what people think

Of course please don’t apply this in your intimate relationships with people you live with -:)) Those relationships are playing out a deep part of yourself, for you. Those need to be approached with care. This video tries to give logical arguments, why one needs to stop caring what other people think; but you know it intuitively already.
