A much abused and over used term – love. Most shy away from using this term. And in the corporate world, this term does not even come up. How can we talk about love, amongst profits, markets, shareholders, stakeholders, growth rates, HR models and hierarchies. Wouldn’t that make you a “softy”, perhaps even a “flake”?
Now, that would be the case, if one were talking about love within the context of its most common associations – romantic love, family love, love within the context of a single or sometimes multiple relationships, love to the country or even love for the world. But there is another kind of love present in the depths of your being. For the sake of a name lets call it POWER LOVE. This love, when experienced is literally “EARTH SHATTERING” and can penetrate the very fabric of your blood. This love, gives you the intuitive understanding of the universe, its principles, its knowledge and its mysteries. It’s the love that enables you to see breathing God in every being, in every thing. Few have experienced POWER LOVE, but those who have, have experienced a deep inner movement, a current that connects them to the universal.
Often when people see someone who is manifesting Power Love, they say something like – “I know you, I have met you before right?, you seem very familiar” – all this even when the two have not really met in this life. It’s because when you see someone who is manifesting POWER LOVE, your inner being sees a glimpse of the universe, sees its own connection to the eternal and thus the person you look at seems completely familiar; because from the highest sense you are looking at yourself in the other, you are looking at the universe.
One of the chief problems in the corporate world today (and through its development over the years), is that we have stripped ourselves of POWER LOVE. In the corporate context we act like we are abnormal mechanised beings, who have to role-play some CONCEPT of what it means to be a Corporate Honcho/Manager/Executive. We speak differently than we would have, we dress differently and we “put on” a persona perhaps. Of course, there are many who have “broken through” and are themselves, but the numbers are still small and its still a challenge.
To conduct business with the knowledge and understanding of POWER LOVE, is truly like living in the Mahabharata. It creates enlightened actions; and a business based on ENLIGHTENED ACTIONS, creates true value for the public and the world; and when you create true value for people and the world, abundance, profits and ‘stakeholder value enhancement’ go up (in fact so does collective spiritual or soul enhancement). Then you have created a business unit that is based on and in true dharmic flourishment.
How do you connect to your Power Love? By sitting in silence and listening. How do you manifest/channel “power love” into your work? By using your cosmic intuition, based on your enlightened learning and taking good care of what practically needs to be done. Connecting to your workers, employees and customers, like they are spirits functioning in the body, looking for the same truths that you are.
Note: Power Love has nothing to do with sweet sugary concepts of love one may hold. Its a powerful and fiery movement of the cosmic energy through you, which manifests in enlightened actions.
