Thats How It Is

I keep seeing Happiness and only Happiness. Even where I “recognise” unhappiness, I know at its root is only happiness.

I keep seeing Abundance and only Abundance. Even where I “recognise” non-abundance, I know at its root is only abundance.

I keep seeing Love and only Love. Even where I “recognise” non-love, I know at its root is only Love.

When I see, recognise and understand my root beat, I know there is nothing I need not see, nothing that my look need transform, nothing that I need segment.

At my root my bliss changes everything, and nothing. That’s how it is.

    I read this in the context of our discussion of yesterday. This sentiment and the awareness of our oneness with the universe on the heels of the simpler awareness of what we are not ( the body, the mind, the ego) would allow action to occur without anger, fear or attachment.

    I see the Karnatake Lokayukta already significantly exemplifying all these characteristics in the manner in which he has escalated this longstanding issue into the collective consciousness of the nation. He has conducted an impartial enquiry and unearthed blatant wrongdoings that divert precious national wealth to a few people at a time when as a society citizens need to look at bringing in a greater degree of economic inclusiveness.

    What he needs now are leaders within the Congress and BJP who will support his efforts despite the collateral damage it would create on their parties. There are people like Sonia Gandhi and Arun Jaitley who are already in favour of a proper resolution. I hope their voice is able to build to a point where the Bellary Brothers are brought to book.

    This is a stark dharmic battle. The government gave the licence to the Bellary Brothers @ Rs. 300 / MT of Iron Ore. The price escalated to Rs. 7,000 / MT but the government colluded with the Bellary Brothers to allow them to pocket all the benefots of this escalation with the government dues being limited to their share of Rs. 300 / MT. Times Now mentions the loss to the Government @ Rs. 60,000 Crores. That figure is what makes this issue so difficult for the parties to resolve since I am not sure how many elections this mining scam has supported both of them to fight.
